Appreciate you lining out your thinking here along with helpful readings.

So much overlap in our nonprofit sector. We're in an accelerating turnover timeframe with lots of retirements and leadership roles that others don't want because they're everything-and-the-kitchen-sink. Which is why I use succession planning as an ongoing practice of strengthening an organization so leadership, knowledge, relationships, and responsibility can be transferred with confidence whenever transition comes.
